Materials That Matter

The choice of material determines not only the appearance of a building but also its durability, maintenance requirements, and lifespan. At Swentibold, we work with premium materials that withstand Dutch weather conditions and retain their beauty for decades.

Zinc

Processing KOMO-certified zinc is the gold standard for roofs, facades, gutters, and wall capping. Zinc develops a natural patina over time that gives the building character and protects against corrosion. It is a living material that moves with the building and lasts for generations with minimal maintenance.

Aluminium

For wall cappings, water strikes, drip edges, flower frames, canopy cladding, fascia boards, etc., we use 2mm or 3mm aluminium that we produce in our own factory and have powder-coated in any desired RAL colour. For roofing and facade cladding, we work with 0.70mm pre-coated aluminium that is lightweight, strong, and low-maintenance. Aluminium does not rust, retains its colour excellently, and is fully recyclable – a sustainable choice for forward-thinking projects.

Steel

Our 0.65 or 0.70mm pre-coated steel combines strength with versatility. Ideal for facade cladding where extra strength is desired, steel offers an excellent price-quality ratio without compromising on durability or appearance.
